Use FilmEdule with Claude

Tell Claude what you need in plain words, and it does the clicking for you.

Option 1: Claude in Chrome watch it work

Claude works right on the FilmEdule page. You see every click, and you can take over at any time.

Needs a paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) and Google Chrome on a computer. On the free plan, use option 2.

  1. Install Claude in Chrome from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your Claude account.
  2. Open your film on filmedule.com.
  3. Click the Claude icon in Chrome's toolbar, and type what you want done.

Claude uses your own FilmEdule sign-in, so it can only see and change what you can.

Option 2: Inside the Claude app quick answers

Ask about your film from any Claude chat, on your computer or phone, without opening FilmEdule.

Works on every Claude plan, including free, in any browser and the Claude phone app.

  1. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it FilmEdule and paste in https://filmedule.com/mcp.
  3. Click Connect, sign in to FilmEdule, and click Allow.

Claude asks before each action, and it can't delete films, scenes or shoot days.

Look things up

  • “What's on day 2? Who's called and what props do we need?”
  • “Which scenes aren't on the schedule yet?”
  • “How many pages is day 4?”

Schedule

  • “Move scene 12 to day 3.”
  • “Add a shoot day on November 10.”
  • “Put all the night exteriors on the same day.”

Breakdown

  • “Tag the shotgun in scene 5 as a weapon.”
  • “Add a red dress to scene 8 as wardrobe.”
  • “Change scene 4's location to Lake Eola Park.”
